Emanuela Duca, a contemporary fine art jewelry designer based in New York City, born in Rome, Italy. With a degree from the School of Art in Rome and the European Institute of Design, and under the watchful eye of reknown Italian goldsmith Alvaro Onofri, moves to NY wishing to break out of the classical forms, embracing a more modern sensibility.
Since then she has gained a large following among sophisticated, design-minded New York women, many of whom collect her uniquely sculptural and sensual forms. All Emanuela Duca designs, cast in sterling silver and 18K yellow gold, are handcrafted in her Manhattan studio. Her designs are sold at 42 retailers in the United States, among them MOCAShop.com , and abroad. Her work has also been featured in Modern Jeweler, in the June 2009 issue of Bridal Guide, in the April 2009 issue of Inside Weddings Magazine, In Store and JQ magazines, as well as on NBC’s Today Show and HBO’s Sex and The City. Emanuela is a member of American Craft Council, Society of North America Goldsmiths and Jewelry Information Center.
